This 2021 release is a remix of the song that featured on Alfredo’s highly acclaimed album ‘Ciao Bella’, released in 2010 by Universal Music Australia. It featured a blend of both classic Italian and English songs, including three originals. The album peaked at Number 4 on the ‘Jazz and Blues’ chart in Australia, spending an amazing twenty-seven weeks in the Top Twenty.

Written by charismatic, polarising Australian poet, tunesmith Billie Reid; “i was poet way b4 songz, MY WORDZ, I LIVED them … i write from heart when spirit moves me.” The lyrics set the scene for this tragic tale;

“… take my heart it’s dead and cold, tear my breast as I get old. It’s like my sorrow’s still untold, and still as if my soul’s been sold again …”
